Hope u aren't hurting anybody !?!?!?hehe Anyways this is D=rok's review And I'd like welcome everyone who reads this, Now since this is the 1st edition I'll have to explain a little bit. . This is were you get to here what's on my mind & I'm interested to know what all you ""people"'' wanna know & talk about. . So if you have any questions , comments , our you want me to talk about on another review, JUST let me no in the guest book . So anyways this edition I'm going to talk about some of the local scene that's happening lately and 4 the past 5 years. Ya see, there's been this underground wave of hardcore bands. Some proclaiming to be so-called "Christian Hardcore". And if you've actually heard some of these bands, you might think it all just sounds the same, When really it doesn't. Each band is different, it's just a matter of weather or not they are relevant. I remember back when the scene first started rising it was always Christian bands playing everywhere, some where really good bands & had a lot of talent. And most where really hardcore Christians and had long points in there sets were they almost preach to you on stage. And you could here it in there lyrics that they were REAL. The thing that got to me was that only these kinds of bands are getting any shows because that's all people wanted 2 see was these hardcore bands. But because if they were '' Christian '' they were allowed a spot almost immediately . THEREFORE bands started forming that weren't exactly little fucking angels or anything. I went 2 a few shows one time 2 see these new bands play. After one of the sets I went outside and immediately heard someone scream "" FUCK, man , Fuck that's shit dude that show sucked fucking ass:"" Now I'm not going to name names ,but does that sound like someone who SUPPOSEDLY has JESUS in there pink little heart?!?! HAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways in my opinion, the following bands that where and/or are the dominators of this not so easy craft : As I Lay Dying Embodyment- the 1st album, hehe ZAO, Lutti-criss/normajean, Travail, Infirmity, The new band that has Travail's old guitar player and bassist's new band were pretty cool a couple of weeks ago at The door, My friend's band of course+++++ losing all hope Some new kids on the scene, Starving Darren Fire breathers- EVVELYYN sorry Shane I have no idea how to spell it And those little pretty boys in Letter 12 HAHA ANY ONE I LEFT OUT SORRY I DID ENJOY YOUR SHOW I'm running out of time so I'll talk 2 yalls later !
